Hemingbough is a year-round center for spiritual awareness and awakening, a center for the arts, weddings, education, religion, seminars, symphony, opera, popular entertainment, corporate events, theater, prominent lecturers, authors and cinematographers.
This spacious and intriguing grounds contain statuary fountains, Greek revival architecture, and a Greek amphitheater overlooking Lake Audubon. When weather conditions make outdoor activities impossible, the events are moved into the spacious Hemstead Hall, capable of seating hundreds at banquets. The adjoining Audubon Room works well for smaller, more intimate corporate and family gatherings.
As you wander the grounds and listen to the calls of the many peacocks on the property, it is impossible not to feel closer to nature and a sense of peace.
