This place was absolutely AMAZING! My wedding venue had flooded 24 hours before our wedding and the owners at The Castle took us in and made our every detail of our dream wedding come to life. Our wedding looked like it had been planned for a year with how beautiful they set it all up. They were able to find a bartender and security all last minute for us. The dance floor is huge to accommodate all of your guests. They have a beautiful fireplace that was lit during our ceremony and reception. The bridal and groom suites are both huge with lots of mirrors and a full bath in each. The grooms suite has a TV and Xbox so the guys can enjoy hanging out before the wedding. Th phot booth they have is so much fun and will keep your guest busy and laughing for awhile. The Castle has places specifically for small ceremonies as well as big ceremonies. The owners are so personal and will do their best to make your day PERFECT!! Please check them out. I would sooooo highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!! Castle Douglas made the fairytale wedding of my dreams come true. Nestled on private land in Rockwall, Texas, the castle is a full-service venue with everything you need. Wedding planning was a cinch! The owners, John and Charlotte, are super-nice. They've done hundreds of weddings, and they do everything to make your wedding picture perfect. Upon first look, Castle Douglas is a beautiful building, surrounded by woods and a manicured lawn. The rose garden in front of the castle is a great place for wedding photos and bridal portraits. The doors open to reveal a gorgeous entryway, leading right to the great hall where the ceremony and the reception take place. Above is a balcony, perfect for tossing the bouquet and great for taking photos of the event. The arches and stained-glass windows add warmth to the scene and give a real old-world feel to the event. The best part about Castle Douglas is the service. John and Charlotte took such great care of us, and we didn't have to worry about anything. There are a variety of packages to suit any budget. Whether you choose a simple spread or a grand feast, the food is presented beautifully. The castle offers two changing rooms where the bride and groom to get ready. The bride can arrive at the front door in a horse-drawn carriage. You can even get married in period costumes! For your ideal wedding, Castle Douglas is simply the best. You and your guests are guaranteed to have an amazing time.
