A Legal Signing Ceremony is designed for couples who want a simple legal marriage ceremony with up to 8 guests. It includes the required legal declarations, signing of marriage documents, and use of the ceremony space.
The Ensora Celebration is designed for couples who wish to celebrate with family and friends. It includes a longer ceremony experience, seating for up to 15 guests, online RSVP management, and guest check-in assistance.
To get legally married in British Columbia, you will need to obtain a valid BC Marriage Licence before your ceremony and bring it with you on the day. You will also need two witnesses to sign the marriage documents. Witnesses must be at least 19 years old and understand the significance of the ceremony.
No problem. If you are unable to bring your own witnesses, witness services can be added during the online booking process. We can arrange witnesses for your ceremony so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
Yes. Well-behaved pets are welcome at The Ensora. Couples may also choose to add Pawfect Witness™, our signature pet inclusion experience that acknowledges the animals who have played an important role in their lives and relationship.
No. All ceremonies at The Ensora are officiant-led and performed by Vancity Officiant. The space was designed by experienced wedding officiants and is intended to provide a guided ceremony experience rather than a venue-only rental.
