The Voyageur Inn and Conference Center was established in 1972 by a group of nine local business people who built the supper club for casual dining. In 1974 it was sold to a local family who added to the supper club, built the hotel and the Grand Ballroom. The diner became a steakhouse, hotel and conference center.
