About Upper Ranch

When you hold your special event at ranch you have an opportunity to access the amenities of a working cattle ranch. The barn, built in 1952 has been modernized and provides space for one hundred fifty guests to enjoy dinner and a dance in the second floor hay loft. The loft has access to a large deck with a spectacular view of the Selkirk mountains. In addition to this there is bright airy main floor space which opens up to the ranch view on the south and a creekside setting in the north. Both the loft and barn main floor are lit with updated electrical lighting and there is electrical service adequate for a band to play in the loft. In the barn there are twelve banquet tables and eighty five stacking wooden chairs available for your use. Fully modern ladies and mens washrooms are conveniently located just to the west of the barn. They are cleaned and stocked with supplies during your event. The main lawn provides a picturesque setting for a large ceremony and the pond waterfall area is ideal for a small ceremony, appetizers and picture taking. The main grounds are open for your guests to enjoy. We also have a fire pit and picnic tables available for your use. The ranch has many natural locations that are ideal for photographs. Prior to the event you can have a guided tour if you desire a secluded natural setting for your photographs. There is an event parking area north of the barn and creek with a lit walkway to the barn area. There is unserviced space for campers and tents in the area north of the barn for your guests to use.
