Beauty in the Bradshaw Mountains - An Eventective User from Prescott, AZ

My husband and I just recently moved to Arizona. We moved here just after we got engaged and decided to have the wedding here instead of travel home. Prescott, Arizona is a naturally beautiful place. The bowl shaped valley is home to a pristine city that has an old world, pioneer feel with all the conveniences of modern life. The Prescott Resort can be seen on top of its hill from almost anywhere in Prescott. It has the city's best views, except for atop Thumb Butte, which can be seen from the west side of the resort. My wedding was on April 10, 2011 at the Prescott Resort. The banquet hall is beautiful with high ceilings and endless windows. The resort offers Arizona Wedding Packages. I paid just about three thousand for my package and received an outdoor ceremony at the resort's casino, a deliciously catered reception dinner, cocktail hour, and the banquet hall was transformed into a dance club for all my guests. My husband an I had an amazing room with champagne, chocolate, and they even had a kit of massage oils! There were rooms reserved for my guests, so we all felt as if we were getting special treatment. The day after the wedding, everyone went swimming in the resort's indoor pool area. We had lunch at the restaurant and then took the complimentary bus to downtown Prescott to do some touring. The resort also offers transportation to and from the airport in Phoenix, so we didn't even have to worry about that. This is a wonderful place in Northern Arizona for a wedding.
