We had a surprise birthday party and it worked out well - the birthday girl thought we were going to a wedding. The property is beautiful and the management was easy to work with

It was a wonderful event. Darlene Leistner, who manages Buena Vista was wonderful to work with she was cheerful , helpful and so accommodating. The Venue was beautiful and perfect for our wedding shower. It was a perfect day!

The Buena Vista Mansion was absolutely the most beautiful and memorable venue for our celebration for Bailey and Jerry to welcome our precious Hollyn Avery Evans The accommodations were perfect thanks to the efforts of Darlene, the manager of the venue!!! Thank you for perfect setting for our “over the top” baby shower!!!! Could not have been any nicer!!! I have used this gorgeous setting for a wedding some years ago and have been to several events. I have always been pleased with the Buena Vista, but Darlene gives your occasion that extra personal touch!!! We had several out of town, and a few out of state guest, and nothing but praises on the excellent care and preparation for the event!!!! Thank you Darlene for making their day so very special!

June of 2021 we celebrated our daughter’s 15 birthday (quinceañera). It is a very important celebration for Latinos. Ms Darlene was very helpful from the moment I went to see the place until the day of the big event. She was always available to answer my questions and she even made great suggestions for the party. The party turned out beautiful. This place is gorgeous so it is very little decoration you need to add. We were pleased with the venue. Our guests who did not know this gem fell in love with it. We could not ask for a better place.

I have worked here at Buena Vista two different times - from 2003-2006 and from 2018 -2021. It is such a joy to work with the various events, especially the weddings. It's ALOT of work that I see the renters go through. But it is so fulfilling to see these weddings come together and to watch the celebration of two lives becoming one. I tell each bride (and moms) that they are free to decide for themselves where they want to get married, but I always tell them, "We would love for you to be a Buena Vista bride." I love this old house! It is such a unique place for couples to get married!

Mrs. Darlene was very inviting, hospitable, and accommodating. She is so passionate about what she does. The venue was beautiful and my bridal shower guests loved the venue. I highly recommend.
