This stately brick home at Philippi, West Virginia is set against the rolling hills of Barbour County and was built in 1870. The 23-room, Greek Revival mansion house has been restored with great attention to authenticity and features homemade brick and walnut woodwork throughout. and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The barn was built approximately 1850. It has also been restored and is open to the public during tour season. Our patio offers an area for dancing or a scenic location for cutting the cake. A bride’s suite and a groom’s room are available for the wedding party before the ceremony and during the reception. In case of inclement weather, a curtain is available on the pavilion and the ceremony can be arranged in a nearby historic church.
