Best Officiant Ever!!! — An Eventective User from Mesa, AZ

We recently got married and Darlene was our officiant. Expectations were far exceeded!! She was incredible, radiant, kind, encouraging, calm, and organized. I could not have asked for a better experience! Everyone was in tears at the beautiful words spoken and the tone set by Darlene. The night before the wedding, she noticed I was stressed out and brought over a Bridal Survival Kit. It had all types of odds and ends that a bride could need. During the reception, I hugged a guest too enthusiastically and the zipper on my dress popped and broke. Without the sewing kit and safety pins in the bridal kit, I would have been SOL with a broken dress. My mom was able to get me pinned back in and the night continued. I really appreciate all the time and attention Darlene gave to our ceremony and us as people taking a huge life step together. I really needed her calming presence and wonderful words. My wedding day was absolutely wonderful, and Darlene had a big hand in making it such a memorable day. If you are looking for an officiant to capture your vibe and love for each other and put it into beautiful words, Darlene is your lady :)

I cannot say enough good things about Darlene! If it wasn't for her, I'd probably still be engaged, not married. Darlene was so quick to respond to my inquiry and from our first contact, she made me feel as though we had been friends for a long time. Darlene really made my wedding come together and she was so accommodating on short notice, even allowing me to choose the same wedding date that she already had booked for another wedding (she went straight from one wedding to another!). Darlene helped my husband and I prepare our vows, plan the ceremony, and even offered to help me with my flower arrangements because I am not very crafty but wanted to personalize my floral décor. She listened to what my husband and I wanted on our wedding day, gave us suggestions on things we didn't know about and incorporated everything beautifully! Our ceremony was short, sweet and performed without a hitch. Darlene even gave me a sweet "something blue" trinket, a wedding day keepsake, and a follow up treasure! I feel as though her personalization, thoughtfulness, patience, performance, and all around beautiful nature is worth at least double the price she charges (although I am grateful for her very reasonable fee)! I highly recommend Darlene as a wedding officiant. She will not disappoint, and having someone as radiant as her in your wedding ceremony and photos is a plus!

My contact with Darlene was a little last minute as I contacted her only a couple of weeks before our wedding. She immediately made herself available to meet with us to discuss our desires for our ceremony and to hear our story. My initial intention was a very short, no frill ceremony with just close family and some paperwork. Darlene made some recommendations for scripts that made the ceremony much less "business". Darlene also offered to make a bouquet and her husband even took some pictures. She is accommodating, non-judgemental and truly cares about her purpose.

Darlene was so easy to work with and open to what we wanted as a couple. We’re very “non traditional” and not religious but none of that was a problem. She made us feel special and accommodated to our wishes. She had examples of all kinds of ceremonies and wording for pointers if we got stuck. We even did a “tequila toast” in our wedding ceremony to which she incorporated flawlessly. She even had pointers on the order we walked down the aisle in, music recommendations if we needed and overall very supportive and easy to communicate with!
