About Cindy Miller

Cindy Miller is from upstate New York where she received her masters degree from the Eastman School of Music. Her professional engagements have ranged from intimate clubs to large stadium/concert performances, and as guest soloist with symphony orchestras. Cindy has performed with noted jazz greats, flutist Hubert Laws, guitarist Gene Bertoncini, Chuck Mangione, world famous vibraphonists Peter Appleyard, numerous appearences with the Gap Mangione Big Band and with the Benny Goodman Tribute Band. Other appearances range from opening for Bobby Rydell, Julius LaRosa, Stars of the Lawrence Welk Show, and as guest soloist with the Utica Symphony Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Central New York Jazz Ensemble, and with Michael Lasser, host of PBS radio’s nationally syndicated show Fascinatin’ Rhythm. Cindy performed for actress Meryl Streep when Ms. Streep received the George Eastman Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Art of Film, appeared at the New York State Fair Celebration 2000 and was guest soloist at the 2004 and 2006 International Marine Tattoo. New York City appearances include The Blue Note with Gap and Chuck Mangione, Brooklyn School of the Performing Arts, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Danny’s Skylight Room with her own cabaret act. Love You Madly, her CD of standards, was recorded with some of the finest jazz musicians in the country and she has recently released I’ve Got The Music In Me, a CD highlighting her new cabaret/dinner theater show of the same name. Coming out in the spring of 2007, will be Cindy’s first CD of original songs featuring the song Land That We Love, which she has sung for General Tommy Franks, political commentators/authors Mary Maitlin and James Carville, the New York State Assembly, Institute for Homeland Security and for US Congressman Randy Kuhl and Vice President Dick Cheney. Cindy has received rave reviews for her own musical cabaret/dinner theatre shows Here’s To The Ladies, You Ain’t Heard Nothin’ Yet! and her new show I’ve Got The Music In Me.
