Highland Oaks Weddings and Events (formerly Moonlit Farms) is a 36-acre wedding and event venue in Palmyra, Indiana, just 25 minutes from downtown Louisville. Outdoor ceremonies with Southern Indiana woods and rolling hills behind you, a white barn with covered space for up to 300 guests, and private getting-ready suites for both sides of the aisle. Every rental day runs a full 12 hours and includes a one-hour rehearsal plus table and chair setup and breakdown. Open catering welcomes any licensed caterer; all bar service is poured by our in-house team (Cash Bar, Open Bar, or Custom Bar Tab). An on-site cottage is available for the night before or after. Weddings are the heart of what we do, and we also host corporate gatherings, reunions, showers, and milestone celebrations.

About 25 minutes from downtown Louisville, just across the Indiana line in Palmyra. It is an easy drive for guests coming from Louisville, New Albany, Jeffersonville, Corydon, or anywhere in Southern Indiana, and there is plenty of free on-site parking.
Up to 300. The white barn is covered and seats all 300, and the outdoor ceremony site holds the same number, so your guest count never forces you to choose between indoors and out. Smaller weddings of 50 to 150 fit comfortably too.

Yes. We have open catering, so you can bring any licensed caterer you like rather than picking from a short in-house list. There is a prep kitchen on site with a cooler and freezer for them to work from.

Yes, and our team sets them up and takes them down for you. That is included in the rental, not billed as an extra, so you are not renting tables and chairs separately or stacking them yourself at midnight.
Yes. There are private getting-ready suites for both sides of the aisle, so the bride's people and the groom's people each have their own space for hair, makeup, photos, and staying out of sight before the ceremony. Both are yours for the full 12-hour day.
Yes. We have a cottage on the property you can add for the night before or the night after for $500, so you can wake up here on the wedding morning or stay put afterward instead of driving.
