Opening in 1905, The Hamilton Street Theatre was originally a Vaudeville theatre that provided live theatre, traveling troupes and live music as staples of entertainment. Using all reclaimed and repurposed materials, the 40th Street Theatre has been restored back to its original condition. The main theatre can accommodate 148 guests and an additional 50 guests may be seated in an adjacent room. We provide the tables and chairs, you need only to bring your favorite colored linens and table decorations designed for your event! With a ton of history, some rustic notes, a taste of elegance and a bit hippy chic, the 40th Street Theatre is becoming one of Omaha's premier event venues! You are invited to come and create your own memories while enjoying the historic atmosphere of the 40th Street Theatre!
