For intimate gatherings of under 80 guests, we can comfortably host everyone inside our historic barn. For larger events of over 80 guests (up to 175), we recommend using an outdoor tent for dining and utilizing the barn as a vibrant setting for dancing and bar service. We provide on-site seating for up to 75 guests and work closely with local vendors to accommodate larger groups.
The 1912 Barn operates seasonally from the end of April through the end of October, offering beautiful country views and an expansive skyline during the warmer months.
Yes, we are proud to offer special discounts to EMS personnel as well as active and retired military members.
You are welcome to bring your own catering company of choice. While we do not provide in-house food and drink, we have excellent relationships with preferred local caterers and bar services and are happy to connect you with them. The barn is fully equipped with a food prep area, a bar for serving drinks, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, and coffee pots for your convenience.
To officially reserve your date, we require a non refundable deposit of $1000. Please note that we accept payments via cash or check only; we do not accept credit cards. Hourly events require 1/2 of the rental contract to hold the date.
Absolutely. We are happy to assist with decorating, setting up, coordinating, and cleaning up your event to ensure everything runs smoothly. Additionally, the barn is beautifully styled with seasonal country decor, which you are welcome to utilize if you prefer a ready-to-go rustic aesthetic.
Our venue features Wi-Fi access for DJs, level parking with handicap accessibility, and both indoor and outdoor restrooms with handwashing stations. Guests can also enjoy outdoor yard games, walking paths, and a large fire pit with seating (wood can be provided for a small additional cost, or you are welcome to bring your own).
Yes! We have a spacious, beautiful lawn perfectly suited for setting up a tent of your choice. This allows you to design your dream outdoor layout while letting your guests relax and enjoy the scenic country views. We can connect you to some great choices from Springfield, Bloomington or Arthur Illinois to meet your needs

Aissa and Hank were so easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and thought about the things we didn’t. The barn is absolutely beautiful and perfectly decorated to each couples likes with a decoration closet that you can use. The owners really were a big part of making sure we had the perfect wedding

We have used the 1912 Barn for our 25th wedding renewal. Aissa and Hank was so helpful. They even had things there you can use to decorate with. The Barn was perfect for what we wanted, the country look. We have used the 1912 Barn for more than one event and would highly recommend it.

Whether you are looking for a place to say I do or just tea with girlfriends this place is the perfect setting! You can also stay here in one of their B&B rooms! I can't recommend them enough!

This place was outstanding. We had our beautiful September wedding here last summer and we could not have been at a better location. Staff was wonderful and met our every need. So many beautiful settings for photos and options on this property. If you don't book here you are missing out. Take it from a Very Happy Bride!
