We are delighted to host a variety of events, including corporate conferences, birthday celebrations, corporate parties, and wedding receptions. Our versatile spaces, such as The Rux rooftop venue, can comfortably accommodate seated receptions for over 200 guests with a dance floor.

What event spaces are available at Cambria Hotel Nashville Midtown?

We offer flexible event spaces, including the Centennial room on Floor 1A, and The Rux and Iroquois rooms located on Floor 9. For certain events, the entire 9th floor can be exclusively yours. The Rux also features a covered patio with stunning downtown views, equipped with overhead fans, heaters, firepits, and a photo booth.

What are the applicable service charges and taxes for events?

All events are subject to a 24% service charge and applicable taxes, which include a 9.75% sales tax, 7% occupancy tax, and a $2.50 city tax per room night if guest rooms are included. A 5% taxable administrative fee may also apply. A/V pricing is detailed in our Banquet and Catering Menu.

What is included with the venue rental fee?

Our venue rental fee provides exclusive use of the space for your event's duration. This typically includes standard banquet tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware, glassware, as well as setup and breakdown services. For events at The Rux, the outdoor space also includes overhead fans, firepits, and a photo booth.

What is your policy on catering and outside food or beverages?

All dinner catering is provided by our in-house banquets team. Our food and beverage minimums include alcohol, dinner, hors d'oeuvres, and cake. We offer hosted bar packages, and bar service is available by consumption or pre-arranged drink tickets. While outside food is generally not permitted, wedding cakes are an exception, subject to a $90 outside cake charge and a $3 per person cake-cutting fee.

Do you offer hotel room blocks for event attendees?

Yes, we offer group room blocks with special rates honored three days before and after your contracted event dates, subject to availability. Attrition policies vary (e.g., 50% for weddings, 80% for general groups). Concessions for room blocks include discounted valet parking and complimentary guestroom Wi-Fi. For wedding blocks meeting an 80% pickup, additional concessions like a complimentary suite for newlyweds and use of the Centennial Boardroom for bridal parties may be available.

Are there any restrictions on decorations, and can we bring in outside vendors?

You are welcome to bring in your own centerpieces, signage, and other decorations. The only restriction is on lit candles; however, battery-operated candle lights are permitted and work wonderfully. We do not have a required vendor list and are happy to provide recommendations if needed.

What is the payment schedule for booking an event?

To secure your booking, a 10% deposit is due at the time of contract signature. An additional 10% is due two months prior to your event, and the full balance for any charges not affected by an on-consumption bar will be due 10 days before the event.

Do you provide a bridal suite or getting-ready space for wedding parties?

For wedding parties, we offer two options for getting-ready spaces: a suite with a living area, bedroom, and wet bar, or a meeting space with a large table suitable for larger parties. Optional packages are available to enhance these spaces with amenities like a mimosa bar, makeup and full-body mirrors, and lite bites.
