During this time, Southwest Florida was flourishing and transforming its use of technology, travel and transportation, and trade to become the settled region that it is today. The Naples Depot museum contains examples of historic transportations methods, including a mule wagon, antique swamp buggy, restored railroad cars, and Seminole canoes.
