The Lake Cavanaugh Community Center is available to rent. The community center provides a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos and celebrations. The building interiors are a blank canvas which allows the renter the liberty to decorate the facility they want for each event. The lake is located 23 miles east of Mount Vernon. During the winter months, the building can accommodate 60-100 persons comfortably for an event, more during the warm months when outside areas can be used. The Community Center is supported by community members, private donations, fundraising, and by renting the building and facilities.
