A Safe Place for Original Art The Sanctuary is an 1890's Gothic Revival church located in the 5-points / Cottage Hill area of Downtown Montgomery. The Jubilee Community Center board manages the space and many of the events that take place within the picturesque heart pine chapel.
If you are looking for unique cultural experiences or looking to create some of your own, The Sanctuary may be your community asset! Our events are ticketed and all proceeds go directly towards ensuring that this community amenity stays open and available to the public.
Please contact us if you'd like to bring an artist/performance/event to The Sanctuary. We also rent the space for private parties, meetings, community organizing, art/craft workshops, spiritual gatherings, receptions, and any other communal event you can imagine.
