The award-winning Double Hill Cidery is located in Caledonia, the heart of south-eastern Prince Edward Island. Named for the ravine that dissects the land into two hills, we now grow over 16 different varieties of cider apples in the orchard. The farm is also home to various wild apple trees that provide the base for our Nomad cider. The Cidery offers 360 acres of possibilities for the wedding of your dreams. For more intimate ceremonies, the Orchard offers a whimsical setting under our various types of apple trees, with the rolling hills as your ceremony backdrop. For larger ceremony numbers, the Terrace has a wide open lawn area or gravel area that over looks the Caledonia Hills and has a view of Nova Scotia and the Northumberland Strait. Say I do overlooking Atlantic Canada’s natural beauty and beneath our century-old Horse Chestnut trees. The terrace offers a stunning space for all of your wedding events like your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and dance. We have large, seasonal tents that can host up to 200 guests in a semi-enclosed space with a larger section of wooden decking that is perfect for DJs and dancing. There is space for bigger events with added infrastructure. We also offer in-house bar service with cocktails, cider, beer and wine from some of our amazing local partners. With our experienced servers and bartenders on the job, your bar service run smoothly all day long. We love working with new vendors and we now offer a 50-amp plug in for food trucks and other food operation services. At the Terrace we want everyone to enjoy, no matter what their needs, which is why we have accessible parking and a large accessible bathroom. We have three bathrooms in total on property. We also offer a large parking lot and lane way. Knowledgeable serving staff is available. Guided tours are also available, by request.
