Hyland Hills Chalet is available for rent from Late-April to September 30 each year.
Dates for 2028 will become available for booking on January 4, 2027.
Tours are available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, by appointment only and are based on building and staff availability. We also offer a Photo Tour video and Virtual Tour online.
Yes, we hold open houses on specific dates during the season. No reservations are needed, and the building is open from 4 PM to 6 PM. This season's dates include April 21, May 19, June 23, July 14, August 4, September 15, and October 6.
Hyland Hills Chalet provides all alcohol service. We exclusively serve beer and wine within the park district; hard alcohol is not permitted. A bar menu is available for more information.
We operate an Approved Catering program. All food and beverages, with the exception of dessert, must be provided by a caterer from our approved list for the 2026-2028 event seasons.
Yes, Hyland Hills Chalet welcomes both children and adults, aiming to provide a fun and unique experience for all guests.

Our wedding at Hyland Hills was fantastic! The venue was beautiful, and fit our guest list of 150ish people perfectly, and we certainly would've had room for more! We felt confident that by having our ceremony indoors, we would have a great day no matter what the weather decided to do that day. The large food vendor list was a big draw for us as well. Gabby was awesome to work with! She did an incredible job as our day-of coordinator, and kept everyone and everything moving along as it was supposed to. We met with her a few times before the big day and hammered out all the big and little details. During our wedding day, we felt like we were in great hands! Everything went so smoothly. We would certainly recommend Hyland Hills for hosting your wedding, and Gabby as your day-of coordinator!
