Our facility is a beautifully restored and renovated barn originally built in the 1860’s. We offer a one-of-a-kind stone cellar perfect for cocktail hour, multiple areas for the wedding ceremony (cathedral hay loft with restored oak pews, 2nd story loft, outside lawn) all situated on a secluded 250 acres in beautiful Calhoun County IL. We are located just an hour and 15 minutes north of St. Louis and an hour south of Springfield Illinois. Mt Hope Barn has on site bathroom/changing facilities, guest cottage, and is located just 2 miles from lodging. Our venue can seat up to 350 guests for a wedding and we’ve held events with as many as 400 attendees.
