This 65-acre park is located right in the heart of Mentor. As one of our largest parks, Garfield Park includes a Community Recreation Center with barrier-free restrooms, Garfield Pool – an outdoor pool with drop water slide, an All People’s Playground, baseball/softball diamonds, basketball court, picnic pavilion, five-acre fishing pond, soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, and wildlife area. The Picnic Pavilion at the park accommodates 96 guests. The Garfield Recreation Building is a multilevel facility with several different areas available for rental. The First Floor Lounge is a cozy, barrier free area that can accommodate groups up to 50 people. The Ballroom, located on the second floor, can accommodate up to 150 people. It features a spacious area with hardwood floors. Restrooms for the facility are located on the first floor.
