Great experience — An Eventective User from Lewisberry Pa

I highly recommend Strocks pig roast. This was the 2nd time we used them. 1st time was a larger celebration ( 175+ people) and 2nd was smaller (under 50 people). Large or small they’ve got you covered. The pig was absolutely delicious and Their sides are excellent as well. The people and pit master at Strocks are super friendly and great with the kiddos. Really appreciate their services! A truly great family run business. We will be asking them to cook a pig again:-) yum!

Perfect Event Space for Smaller Group — An Eventective User

I hosted my sisters bridal shower in the corn crib over the weekend and I couldn’t have been more pleased! We had about 30 people attend and the space was the perfect size! The food was excellent we did a mixture of the appetizer package and the Picnic package. The food was delicious! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful! Morgan was our bartender and she did a terrific job! Amy and Heather helped serve the food and also did all the setting up of tables and breaking down of tables! I was beyond pleased with this venue and staff! It was beyond my expectations and I HIGHLY recommend!!!

The Corn Crib was a charming, rustic, and absolutely beautiful venue choice for our daughter's high school graduation party. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous and attentive without hovering, the quaint touches in existence needed little embellishment, and the pre-event planning stress was made minimal due to the comprehensive consultation. The setting is breathtaking, and, since the summer weather cooperated on the day of the event, the staff eagerly opened the large barn doors on both sides, allowing a gentle cross breeze to blow through and availing our guests to the stunning views. Our guests couldn't believe that this beautiful venue was found literally in our own backyards!

I wish I could award more stars to this wonderful wedding venue! Kurtis was our primary contact, but we had interaction with several other members of the Strock family. Every interaction we had and every email response we received (very timely, too!) was pleasant and an even greater confirmation that our special day was going to be wonderful. Every guest of our wedding commented on how beautiful and property/venues were and how delicious the food was! Our ceremony was held in the Corn Crib (newly renovated and perfectly simple), and our reception was held in the Catering Barn (the perfect mix of rustic chic). Even when the weather decided to hassle us only 20 minutes before the ceremony, Strock's came to our rescue and helped us re-coordinate our processional; What a relief to a stressed bride! I can't say enough good things about this wonderful family-owned and operated event venue. They went above and beyond to make us feel like one of their own and to ensure our special day was the best day of our lives.

We held our daughter's wedding and reception at Strock's Catering Barn. The day was perfect - from the setting and decorations for the outside service to the rustic beauty of the barn for the reception. Raelene and Kurtis were wonderful with the planning and answering the million questions we had. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious. We had many of our guests comment on how beautiful and perfect everything was and how much they loved the food and venue they chose. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Strock's Catering Barn - we highly recommend it for any event you need a venue and/or catering for!
