First Church in Marlborough (Congregational) is a historic church in Marlborough. The present building known originally as The Meeting House, was built in 1853, and has an attached 43'x 65' Parish Hall (built later) that seats up to 190 people. Parish Hall is ideal for weddings, birthday and graduation parties, family gatherings, concerts, and entertainment events. The hall has a raised stage that is ideal for music events and theater productions. Please note that we do permit the serving of alcoholic beverages under controlled supervision. Ask us about our alcohol policy. A note for wedding receptions: the capacity for the hall is 190 people, so if you are wanting to have a dance floor as well, unfortunately we would not be able to accommodate you. Our kitchen is available for staging purposes only. Use of stove, coffee makers, and supplies is prohibited. You can bring your prepared food or bring in catered food (we do not provide catering services). We also have classrooms available for smaller group meetings.
