Bright Eye Beer Co. is a family-owned brewery and taproom in the heart of Long Beach, New York, rooted in a passion for great beer and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. Bright Eye opened in February 2020. Despite the challenges of the years that followed, the support of our community helped us grow into the small business we always envisioned. Deeply connected to the historic fabric of this barrier island, Bright Eye draws inspiration from Long Beach’s past—from the fishing industry that inspired our name to the century-old Five & Dime shop upstairs, thoughtfully renovated into our second-floor bar and event space. Whether you’re stopping in for a post-beach beer, picking up a crowler, or celebrating a milestone, we invite you to experience Bright Eye in all the ways it was meant to be enjoyed. In 2024, Bright Eye expanded to include The Upstairs, a spacious and flexible event venue featuring original tin ceilings, historic beams, a wraparound bar, cozy seating areas, rustic furnishings, a pool table, and a dedicated catering room. Ideal for hobby club meet-ups, corporate off-sites, wedding receptions, and more, The Upstairs can be reserved for semi-private gatherings, larger functions, or combined with the Tap Room for a dynamic full-venue buyout.
