Woods along the river, gardens, and native trees throughout the property offer a gorgeous backdrop; lush with green health in Spring and Summer and warm with transitional color in Autumn.
The Historic Bank Barn provides rustic elegance for events year-round. Under the eaves of the Historic Bank Barn, the Stable Gallery is shady and cool in a summer swelter and enclosed and heated in the chilly fall. Brides and party hosts will feel supported and relaxed as they plan their event at Riverside on the Potomac which has been carefully designed to accommodate all of their needs. Riverside on the Potomac is also a working farm with horses in three rail equestrian fenced paddocks overlooking the hay fields and polo grounds. The polo grounds make a great site for large corporate events.

- Special Features: Our historic barn and The Stable are climate controlled. We do have AC and heat. The Waterfall Terrace is in shade for the warmer weather months at 5:00 pm for the ceremony. We have three inclement weather options if needed.
