Memory Lane Heritage Village, located in Lake Charlotte in the Eastern Shore region, is an award-winning living history village depicting life in rural Nova Scotia during the 1940s.
The village features 18 rescued and restored buildings with period artifacts including a general store, one-room schoolhouse, church, icehouse and cookhouse. Rural industries such as gold mining, forestry, fishing and boat building are represented in our village buildings and activities. Operational antique vehicles include a 1928 Ford Model A, a 1948 International pickup and a 1949 Farmal Cub Tractor.
Memory Lane Heritage Village offers a unique backdrop for your wedding or event. As a heritage venue, we pay special attention to ensuring that Village staff are involved in the wedding planning and delivery. We offer an all-inclusive private Village experience. Our church is also available for ceremonies only.
Our buildings include The Clam Factory, a large reception hall complete with a stage and full sliding doors that open on the Village Grounds and Dufferin Pond, as well as a traditional Cookhouse that seats up to 100 guests.
