Located on the corner of Ridge and Plain streets in La Porte, Indiana, the La Porte Civic Auditorium is a highlight of the City of La Porte and the La Porte Park and Recreation Department. This beautiful, regal building was a gift to the City of La Porte from a local philanthropist, Maurice Fox of the Fox Woolen Mills, in honor of his parents. The stipulation of this gift was that the building be made available to all individuals, Civic and educational groups or bodies. The Civic Auditorium can host quite the sizable event.
