The Garden Club is a charming preserved historic landmark, originally built in 1875 as a Grange Hall. Rich with local history, it housed the first Federal Court north of Seattle, served as Whatcom County’s district court, and was the first courthouse and county seat for Skagit County. Over the years, this remarkable building has also welcomed the community as a church and a schoolhouse.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Garden Club now offers a charming and intimate event venue, available for rent through the Town of La Conner. Its historic character and warm, inviting atmosphere make it a memorable setting for gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions.
