PERFECT Wedding Reception Venue! - An Eventective User from Overland Park, KS

I wish I could give The Uptown more than 5 starts! I loved everything about my wedding reception there. Kim was AMAZING. She emailed me back and always answered every question quickly. She met with us several times even two evenings to show our families the venue. She allowed us to come in the day before our wedding to set up and allowed my family to come in the day after my wedding to pick up. They were so helpful and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for a venue! We did the Broadway room, but I promise you they'd take good care of you in any room at The Uptown!

Gorgeous venue for a dramatic event - An Eventective User from Kansas City

I LOVE this old theater. The main theater is gorgeous and dramatic and perfect for a large, dramatic wedding. If you want something unique that is a major showstopper this place is for you! They put the names of the bride and groom on the signage outside which makes a fun touch. My only complaint is the surrounding neighborhood. It's a little ify, especially late at night. But they do offer security and I've never had an incident here.
