Our hall has a generous capacity of 300 people, providing ample space for seating and event activities. Whether you're planning for a smaller group or a large gathering, we have the room you need. There is also ample parking space and free on-site RV boondocking during weekend rentals.
Our rental rates vary depending on the event type and duration. For example, a comprehensive wedding reception package, including extended access from Thursday evening through Sunday, is typically $1,600. Shorter rentals, such as a 6-hour memorial service, are $350, and other full-day rentals may range from $500 to $800. As a volunteer-run non-profit, our pricing is tax-free.
Rentals include access to our air-conditioned hall with level, handicap-accessible entry, eight-foot tables and chairs for up to 300 guests. You'll also have use of our spacious stainless steel kitchen (equipped with large coolers, freezer and commercial ovens), a dedicated bar area with a serving window, and Wi-Fi. Renters receive a personal 4-digit alarm code for convenient access and a dumpster bin for garbage disposal.
We offer total flexibility for your event's dining. You are welcome to cook in our spacious kitchen, bring in outside caterers, or even arrange for a food truck. Available are tableware, coffee makers, and chafer sets for your use. Renters are responsible for washing kitchen & tableware items or can opt for our 'Post-Event Walk-Away' service for convenience.
Yes, alcohol service is permitted. You will need to arrange for a bartender, obtain a Special Event Permit, and secure $2 million in liquor liability insurance (instructions included, approximately $150). It is a standard procedure to have 'All HCCRA members and directors' added to your policy as additional insureds at no extra cost. We can recommend local community members for bartending services if needed.
Yes, we offer several decor enhancements. This includes ceiling drapery, a double white chiffon backdrop with twinkling fairy lights or use of the stage, and several wooden arches. White or black chair and table linens are available through our in-house linen service. Additionally, we provide free decor items like pampas grass, wood rounds, jute runners, and wooden arches to enhance your event's atmosphere.
Heffley Creek Hall operates as a DIY venue. Renters are responsible for their own setup, takedown, and thorough cleanup, which includes washing dishes (if used), cleaning washrooms, mopping, and vacuuming. For your convenience, we also offer optional 'Post-Event Walk-Away' services, allowing you to leave the cleanup to community members requiring extra income starting at an additional fee of $200.
