Morada is an open-air wedding venue located in Joshua Tree, California. With 350 acres of untouched Mojave Desert, the estate offers soon-to-be-weds a chance to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Any couple’s romantic event will be surrounded by picturesque mountain ranges and romantic sunsets during the evening, providing a stunning, photo-ready backdrop.
The Morada was originally built as a musicians retreat, before deciding to open it to guests as an event space. Its spacious outdoor grounds are ideal for weddings of all sizes, from intimate elopements to large affairs of up to 150 guests. You can say your "I do"s surrounded by mountain views, cacti, and other desert plants for a true SoCal experience. The main home on the property can be used as a get-ready space or as overnight accommodation. This 1950s-style pueblo house features three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a large fireplace, and provides a perfect space for guests to gather and relax. There's also a 1,900-square-foot outdoor lounge which boasts a large pool and jacuzzi, a firepit, a BBQ, and a dining table. Your guests will love sipping cocktails here as they admire the incredible views.
