This place was amazing! — An Eventective User from Celina, Ohio

My wife and I recently got married and we decided to make our honeymoon a weekend getaway to Chicago. We did not want to stay in the heart of Chicago so we decided to stay about 20 min away from downtown. We stayed at the Westin in Itasca and we were beyond pleased. As soon as you walk in this 12 story building, it almost takes your breath away from its massiveness. It is very overwhelming. Checking in was simple. The beds were among the most comfortable beds I have ever seen let alone slept in. The service was amazing. The staff was friendly. Anything we needed we had almost right away. When we asked the staff of stuff to do around the hotel, they provided us with a list of entertainment facilities, restaurants, and shopping areas. As far as having a wedding or a reception at this place, I fully recommend it. There was a reception being held there on our second night there. They had a live band and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
