Featuring exposed brick walls dating back to 1898, soaring wood-beam ceilings, oversized windows, and versatile indoor and outdoor spaces, 24 Shelby provides a unique backdrop for events of all styles. The venue accommodates up to 250 seated guests and includes tables, chairs, a bridal suite, full bar services, built-in AV capabilities, multiple projection screens, and convenient on-site parking.
Our open-vendor policy allows clients the flexibility to choose their preferred caterers and event professionals, while our experienced team is available to assist with planning, coordination, and event execution. 24 Shelby is a historic event venue in downtown Indianapolis, housed in the only surviving pre-Prohibition brewery building in the city. Built in 1898 as the bottling house for the Home Brewing Company, the 6,000+ sq ft space has been fully renovated while preserving the original brick walls, exposed wood-beam ceilings, and oversized windows. We host weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, and all types of celebrations.
Up to 250 guests for a seated ceremony or plated dinner, and 300+ guests for a cocktail-style reception. The Prohibition Patio adds an additional 25 guests outdoors. Our flexible layout adapts to events of all sizes.
Yes. The entire venue is on a single floor — 6,000+ sq ft. There are six steps up to the venue entrance, with a wheelchair-accessible ramp available. Fully accessible throughout all event spaces and restrooms once inside.
