We used this venue for my mom's birthday party in Houston. It is a beautiful venue! It would be perfect for a smaller wedding reception or any event. We had about 80 people which was perfect. You can bring in your own catering and alcohol and the venue is very affordably priced (especially since you get the use of the whole house). It has a great historic feel to it, but has modern amenities.
