Macatawa Legends was a fantastic place to host our daughter’s wedding reception. The room is beautiful, with expansive windows and great views. Lacey and her staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. They were very kind and thorough, paid close attention to details, and always responded promptly to our questions. The food was delicious, and we received numerous compliments from our guests on the quality of the meal. I highly recommend this venue!

We got married here in February, and the food, staff, and location were wonderful! The only complaint was we were told since the golf course was unusable for pictures we would be provided with another suitable location. I guess standing in the small lobby tucked away by the office was “suitable”, so if you plan on getting married here in the off season this is something to note. Otherwise; we had the best day of our lives and would rate this a 5/5 if the photo opportunities were fixed.

She was always very responsive to allllll the emails I sent her and answered every single question I had in detail. She made the wedding planning process a lot easier. I’m a pretty type A person and like things a certain way and Lacey worked with me with ease. This venue is also GORGEOUS. It truly needed little decor because of how beautiful it naturally is. The food was 12/10 SO good. It actually tasted better than it did at the tasting. I had guests come up to me and say how good the food/dessert was- I wish we had time to eat more of it! It was nice the catering/beverage was all in-house - one less vendor to search for.

We organized a high school reunion held at Macatawa Golf Club in Holland. The venue location and room itself was spacious and well appointed. The food and beverage selections provided a wide variety to choose from. There were plenty of event staff to help us during the evening and everything went very well. She was very easy to contact, helped organize what information we needed and by when, and ran a very smooth final details meeting that left us feeling extremely at ease. Our day of events manager, Natalie, was also amazing to work with. She knew how everything was supposed to run and helped our day run so smoothly. The rest of the team did fantastic as well. The venue was beautiful, they provided whatever music we wanted and the staff was very accommodating. The staff introduced themselves and encouraged me to ask if I needed anything. Many staff told me the food was excellent (which it was!). I will definitely return to Macatawa Golf Club again!

We had a memorial luncheon in the club room at Macatawa Legends. The planner and staff worked hard to make this family event a success. The food was plentiful and delicious. (We had high expectations from our visits to Boatwerks - another restaurant in the group.) The staff was very helpful ( turned off the music for us so we could focus on conversation). The planning process went very well. Lacey helped us make good decisions and provided everything we needed for a comfortable, elegant event. There was a minor miscommunication about dessert, but Lacey and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to resolve the issue. And we had freshly baked cookies! If I ever plan another event, I will use Macatawa legends.
