December 5, 2025 York County is issuing marriage licenses and I am performing the ceremonies at my Richmond home. We perform all civil marriage ceremonies comparable to a Justice of the Peace and Elopements. Civil Ceremonies/Elopements are no longer performed in the Henrico Courthouse by civil marriage celebrants or by the Magistrates, or by Judges and have not been since prior to 2010. Since 2010, Rev. Byron Sichert, the top rated regional Wedding Minister since 1983, and his staff, have scheduled and performed all Civil Marriage Ceremonies/Elopements comparable to a Justice of the Peace for all Henrico and Richmond couples at the 5 Henrico Govt Center Venues(rain/snow venue onsite) seven days a week, day and night by appointment only with all guests welcome, or at your location for $200-$600. We regularly perform ceremonies at, Virginia War Memorial, and Virginia Science Museum, and all Venues and homes. Witnesses are not required! There is no venue fee. Walk Ins are not accepted! You must bring with you a valid marriage license from a Virginia Circuit Court. We perform non-religious, semi-religious, and Christian ceremonies in English. Henrico County allows marriages at the courthouse venues by Rev Byron Sichert who they recommend, but not in the courthouse or Officiants offices or homes. voice mail you MUST leave a message to have your call returned. All calls are returned within 2 hours. If you speak to a woman or get a voice mail with a woman's voice you dialed the wrong number. She is not affiliated with us! This lady charges $150 or more for Govt. Center Weddings, which is not the standard fee charged by our approved Officiants. Seven Days A Week, All Henrico County Civil Ceremonies are scheduled and performed by us, not by the Courthouse Staff! At the discretion of the Officiant, a non-refundable $100 consultation fee may be required to schedule your ceremony at our locations, and other fees may apply! Remember, we schedule and perform all the Civil Ceremonies and Elopements for Henrico and Richmond Couples. Don't talk to the Courthouses about your Ceremony because we perform the Ceremonies, not the Courthouses. Beware of some Officiants who can't show you their credentials, and they don't show up for the ceremonies, and are not authorized to perform Virginia Marriage Ceremonies, and often charge way too much for ceremonies at our Venues or at your home or venue. We always get the calls when these people don't show up or the couple finds out from the Courthouse that they are not legally married! All ceremonies must be scheduled and the venues are always open! The covered courtyard (still outside) is used when raining or snowing., Your officiant can take pictures with your camera/phone. All indoor ceremonies are performed at the location of the marital couple. We are not affiliated with Henrico County or Henrico County Circuit Court. All scheduling and performing of ceremonies is done by VA/MD/DC Wedding Ministers! If we perform a ceremony in person at your location, the fee ranges from $200-$600.
