The Bird is a multi-space event venue, with a lively and casual main floor bar + lounge, open air two-level patio, newly renovated agave-driven speakeasy, and semi-private room within the speakeasy, The Peacock Room. The Speakeasy space is newly renovated and located on the basement level of The Dirty Bird Lounge. The Speakeasy bar features over 180 tequilas and 200+ agave spirits in our well-stocked bar - as well as an original craft cocktail and tapas style menu. The Speakeasy space includes exclusive amenities: air-conditioning, two newly renovated restrooms, complimentary pool tables, a lift for accessibility, DJ booth with turntables and sophisticated sound system, a semi-private dining room, and a cocktail lounge with a variety of seating perfect for networking, celebrating, and making new memories.
Tuesday through Sunday the Main Floor Lounge, Patio, and the entire Speakeasy are available for groups of 10-120 guests. Exclusive bookings of the Speakeasy offer a completely private floor and dedicated staff and amenities. Celebrate your special event with us by booking our semi-private Peacock Room on Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings.

We offer both indoor and outdoor spaces, including our downstairs Speakeasy cocktail lounge, a semi-private room within the Speakeasy, The Peacock Room, and a year-round outdoor patio.
Our space options can accommodate intimate gatherings up to 35-40 in The Peacock Room, up to 120 guests in the Speakeasy, up to 35-40 guests for our Half Patio, or 80 guests for our Full Patio.
Yes, our patio is open year-round for buyouts between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM. However, we often suggest our indoor Main Floor, our Speakeasy, or our sister restaurant, Storybook Bar & Kitchen during fall and winter months to ensure protection from variable weather.
Yes, we are a full-service bar and restaurant offering a variety of food and beverage options for private events, including individual orders by your guests, catering by our in-house kitchen, and supplemental catering and custom desserts by our sister restaurant, Storybook Bar & Kitchen.

Yes, entertainment options such as music or a DJ can be incorporated depending on the chosen space and event layout. We can book a DJ from our network on your behalf, or you can book your own DJ. There is a vetting and approval process for DJs outside of our network, but we will work with you to ensure that process is easy and smooth - all we need from you is your DJ's contact info, and we can handle the rest!
Patio buyouts are typically available for 3 or more hours during our daytime to early evening window from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additional time may be available upon request, and may depend on the other details of your booking.
For guaranteed protection against weather, we recommend booking our downstairs Speakeasy lounge or the semi-private room within the Speakeasy, The Peacock Room, which provides a stylish and comfortable indoor setting. We cannot guarantee a "plan B" reservation for Patio bookings, so during colder seasons, we recommend booking indoors with us or our sister restaurant, Storybook Bar & Kitchen.
