The Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat is an authentic stern-driven paddle wheeler built 32 years ago as a community service project by the Harrisburg Area Riverboat Society for the benefit of the people of and visitors to the Harrisburg, PA area. The Riverboat Society is a non-profit, 501-c-3 organization headed by a voluntary board of community leaders. The purpose of our organization includes increased tourism, economic development, and enhanced education regarding the history and ecology of the Susquehanna River and our region.
Since her construction and launch in 1988 under the leadership of local businessman Mike Trephan, the Pride has carried more than a half-million passengers. She’s been used for private functions (meetings, parties, weddings, dinners, anniversaries) as well as public events including dinner cruises, Murder Mystery Cruises, public cruises and the educational Susquehanna River School. More recently, popular events such as the Wine and Cheese Cruise, Wing Night Cruise, Pirates on the Pride, Blues Cruises, Jazzin’ on the Pride, Family Nights, Moonlight Party Cruises, Crab Cruises, and much more have entertained guests from all ages and tastes.
2020 pricing is: $11 for adults, $9 for seniors, $6 for children ages 3-12 and free for children under 3.
