Lauren began harp at age twelve and studies with Carol McClure, Lecturer in Harp at Louisville University and Artistic Director of The Harp School, Inc. Since beginning her harp studies, Lauren has participated in masterclasses and lessons with world-renowned artists Catherine Michel, Elinor Bennett, Isabelle Moretti, and Judy Loman. Lauren has been awarded prizes in national and international competitions such as the Great Composer's Series, International Grande Music, Young Artists' Harp Seminar, YoungArts, and Hong Kong Harp competitions. Lauren was selected as Principal Harpist with the Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra for the 2020-2021 season. She also performed excerpts from The Nutcracker with the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Orchestra in December of 2021. Most recently, Lauren participated in the Lyon and Healy Awards and was named one of the three awards winners.
