Gravity Taphouse - Perfect for small company gatherings — An Eventective User

My organization, Bliss Munitions Equipment, based in Kentwood, opted to host our annual Christmas party at Gravity - this was our first time hosting at Gravity, as the former venue we routinely hosted at no longer fit the company's needs. We reserved the Stout room 6-9pm on a Friday for our 40 guests, which was the perfect size. Small enough to encourage mingling, but large enough to not feel cramped. In addition to this, it had coat hangers, private restrooms, music, and a Christmas tree with a table for White Elephant gifts. Abby, the events coordinator, along with the two waitresses who served our party were extremely efficient and timely, the process was straightforward, and each of the girls answered all of the numerous questions I had quickly and in a very detailed manner. Prior to the party, Abby prepared a full map layout of the room, as well as a timeline for when our food would be served, which was followed by the staff perfectly on time. 100% recommend this venue and their team, very impressed and a perfect location too -- only 15 minutes from the GRR airport and right next door to a hotel, if your attendees are traveling for your event. Our employees and their guests loved it, and we will likely have events at Gravity again.
