About Lobster Talk

Events Manager We have completed our 17th season running the most recognized and successful lobster tour boat excursion in Maine (www.lululobsterboat.com). Over the years I’ve been getting more requests to do lectures about Maine’s iconic fishery on land, so this fall I launched a new business called LOBSTER TALK to fill the need. My lecturing season will run from November to April for the most part, but if I can fit a request in during my tour boat season (May to October 21th.) I’ll try to accommodate if it’s local. Given the number of conferences, bus tours, educational venues, seafood shows and seafood marketing opportunities domestic and international visiting Maine especially during the “off season” on the coast, visitors are hard pressed to have an opportunity to learn about Maine’s most famous fishery. That’s where LOBSTER TALK comes in. We specialize in educating your guests about everything “LOBSTER” and do it in a fun and interactive way. Our narration covers the fishery from the boat to the anatomy, molting cycle, life cycle, how the traps work, sustainability and conservation regulations protecting our precious resource. Over the years we’ve been featured on local, national and international television shows and in the press as well. Just this last season we were featured on the CBS Evening News promoting Chinese tourism in Maine, we had a cameo appearance on Good Morning America (Acadia won Best vacation destination in America), Travel Channel (Hotel Impossible) and over the years appeared on the Outdoor living Network, Outdoor Channel, CBS Early Morning Show, Travel Channel, Food Network, MPBN, Fuji Network (Japan), French National Television (TF1), Irish Television (ITV) and several others. You can also check our website @ www.LOBSTERTALK.com”. For additional information about this terrific experience you can offer your guests. Please contact us anytime (see below) and we can talk about how to book one of our lectures hopefully in the very near future. Thank you for your consideration and time reading this. Captain John
