Elena's Greek Armenian Cuisine might not be the first place you think of when you are going to cater an event, but they are really quite excellent. I recently had to buy food for a last-minute business event that had about 40 people present. By chance I had had lunch at Elena's several month's back, which was delicious, and so on a whim I called them up and asked if they could cater they said, "absolutely, yes!" and it turns out they do this catering thing quite regularly. I asked them what to order for this size crowd (about 40 people, which included several very picky vegetarians, which is always a dilemma) and the lady on the phone walked me through all their offerings, and helped me to create a really diverse and full menu of tasty food for the event. The people at Elena's are really friendly folks, which is no small thing these days. The food was ready on time (which is important), the final bill was really affordable (in fact I came in under budget on this one), and most importantly it was delicious hummus, lamb and chicken kabob, falafel and stuffed eggplant. Delicious! No one was expecting Greek/Armenian cuisine for lunch, and at first there were a few raised eyebrows, but after people started to eat everyone was happy (even those pesky vegetarians). I got a good number of complements on my "unique" choice of food. This place is great, I highly recommend it for any type of catered event. Plus, their website has a really cool song. Check it out.
