Great location in Dallas/Plano — An Eventective User from Plano, TX. Houston, TX

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Stonebriar for about a week for a conference in 2008. At that time the hotel was brand new and unfortunately very few people knew about it so we had some trouble getting there as our directions were not so clear. The hotel is actually quite close to the airport (about a 15-20 minutes drive). I revisited the hotel in 2011 for a personal trip and found it now as a well established location in Plano. I was in a King room and I found this to be somewhat bigger than other standard King rooms.Unlike other Sheraton hotels (such as the one in the Dallas Galleria area) everything here feels like new and the staff is awesome. The location is quiet and just minutes away from the business area of Plano as well as from the downtown Plano and the Stonebriar mall. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful and they were able to accomodate all our needs. Furthermore they have a shuttle that can take you anywhere within 5 miles from the hotel. So if you want to go shopping or if you're working for one of the companies near-by they will gladly take you there and then pick you up whenever you call them. I really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Dallas.
