Very Retro and Fabulous Wedding Venue - An Eventective User from Fort Worth, TX

T&P Station is a fabulous place for a wedding reception. It is spacious and can easilly acomodate well over 200 guests. There is not a lot of room for prep work (Caterers, florists, etc) so everything needs to be ready to go once there. The pricing for this venue is wonderful you get a fabulous venue for a reasonable price. I have seen this used as a ceremony and reception space, but in my opinion it was much better used a solely a reception area. The only downside is the bathroom placement. My guest had to go outside and down an ally to reach the restrooms.

Married in Elegance - An Eventective User from Fort Worth, Texas

The T&P Station in downtown Fort Worth, Texas is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen. Along with the beauty of the art deco that is found both inside and out, there is a lot of history with the building, as it was the very first train station in the area. Inside, are large roofs, beautiful chandeliers and a large marble counter that used to be where people purchased their tickets from. The room is also very spacious and there is lots of room for at least 250 guests, room to dance, and room for multiple buffet tables as well. The building manager was also very helpful and available the multiple times we needed access to the room so that we could jot ideas down for how we wanted everything laid out. The price wasn't too expensive either compared to the fancier hotels, and the flower gardens in the area. There were also ample amounts of parking for our guests as well (300). The only downfall to the venue is that you must supply your own tables, sound system, and all that, which can raise the overall value of your wedding and reception. However, with all that said, I would still recommend the venue based on feedback we got from people that attended our wedding. They said that it was the most beautiful and elegant weddings they have ever been to. They also said that they liked the large area, and could move around easily without running into other guests or squeezing between chairs at the tables. Overall, it was an easy choice for us based on the budget we were given, not to mention the fact that the venue served as both the place to get married but also for the reception as well. The beauty inside, as well as outside really played a key part in us choosing the venue too. If I could go back, I would have chosen this place from the beginning instead of wasting time looking at other places.
