The Watson-Curtze Mansion at the Hagen History Center is a restored Victorian-era treasure in the heart of Erie, PA. Built in 1892, it now operates as a museum and public event center. Both the mansion and its grounds are available for events and can accommodate up to 300 guests. From its mosaic tiles to elaborately carved wooden features, your special day will be infused with elegance at every turn. Our campus is conveniently located in the center of Erie’s historic Millionaire’s Row, just a few blocks from downtown Erie. Several nearby hotels are conveniently located on Erie’s bayfront, a short 5 minute drive away. Additional Considerations: - All food and beverage services must be provided through one of HHC's three catering partners. They are Red Letter Hospitality, Sabella's, and Make It Fabulous. - Renter is responsible for the hiring and coordination of catering services. Hagen History Center does not provide catering planning/coordination services. - Limited inventory of tables, chairs, and linens are available and included in the rental cost. (Seating for max. 75 guests) - All additional items must be rented through HHC at an additional cost. Set-up and tear-down included. - Renter must provide proof of liability event insurance. Can be purchased through Hagen History Center website, or independently. - Private event rentals must take place after regular business hours (5 p.m. start time). Pricing: - 4-hour, full facility rental is $4000.00 // 50% deposit due at signing. - $500.00 refundable security deposit due at signing - $100.00 required cleaning fee due at signing - Additional hour // $400.00 - Total due at signing: $2600.00 - $2800.00 - Rental item quote provided after consultation.
