2000 Brooklyn is Corktown’s newest private event space, well suited for product launches, weddings, company off-sites, and more. With its history spanning over a century, 2000 Brooklyn was originally built for Laitner Brush, a manufacturer of a large variety of household automotive and industrial brushes. During the U.S Civil War, Laitner was one of the chief suppliers of horse brushes for Michigan’s nine cavalry units. In 1987 and housed a collection of some of Detroit’s best creatives over the following 3 decades including today. Nonprofit groups, inquire about preferred rental fees. 2000 Brooklyn’s flexible indoor and outdoor spaces can be completely transformed for an incredible event backdrop. Rentals from 3,000 up to 15,000 square feet of divisible between 3 unique spaces on the campus: a historic loft, a professional production studio, and a private outdoor area nestled in Detroit’s oldest neighborhood with unblocked views of Downtown Detroit. Instagram opportunities abound - 100 year old oak floors and columns, steel beams, high exposed ceilings with steel beams, and large warehouse windows featuring beautiful green walls, brick backdrops, professional murals and other works of art. It’s the perfect setting to tie the knot, celebrate a milestone, connect with team members, or host a meeting. Rent all three individually or in combination.
