2000 Brooklyn is Corktown’s newest private event space, well suited for product launches, weddings, company off-sites, and more. With its history spanning over a century, 2000 Brooklyn was originally built for Laitner Brush, a manufacturer of a large variety of household automotive and industrial brushes. During the U.S Civil War, Laitner was one of the chief suppliers of horse brushes for Michigan’s nine cavalry units. In 1987 and housed a collection of some of Detroit’s best creatives over the following 3 decades including today. Rentals from 3,000 up to 15,000 square feet of divisible between 3 unique spaces on the campus: a historic loft, a professional production studio, and a private outdoor area nestled in Detroit’s oldest neighborhood with unblocked views of Downtown Detroit.
