Baby Shower — An Eventective User from Courtyard by Marriott, Denton, TX

I live in Louisiana and my daughter who is having our 1st grandchild lives in Denton, TX. I had decided I wanted to have a baby shower for her with family, her friends and co-workers. Not knowing about venues in Denton I asked family members but wasn't satisfied with their suggestions, so I went to the internet. There were several venues available but when I saw Courtyard listed as one of the venues, I remembered how nice it was since my daughter had reserved some rooms there for her wedding guest. I immediately called them and spoke to the person in charge of events, Joe Lopez. He was very helpful and pleasant. He allowed me reserve the date without any deposit. I told him I would be in town in a couple of weeks and he said I could go look at the venue and if I liked it I could fill the paper work then and make my payment than. There were a couple of times I had to call him with questions and each time I was taken care of by Joe right away. Needless to say I was very please on the day of the baby shower. They were very flexible with the time to decorate. Everything was set-up for me as I had asked and Mr. Joe Lopez even presented himself the day of while off duty to make sure everything was alright and if I needed anything else. The Baby Shower was a huge success! Everyone complimented how beautiful the atmosphere was and the great location. Thank you Mr. Joe Lopez for helping me make my 1st grandchild's baby shower a memorable one.
