Corporate Reception — An Eventective User from Dallas, TX

My company recently hosted a 900+ person evening reception here. The event manager I was working with leading up to the event left the Perot a week prior to our function, but Laura stepped in/up and was simply amazing - it was as if I'd been working with her all along! We used Beyond the Box for our catering - Marci was phenomenal and the food was impressive and delicious - I've never seen so many people take photos of buffet stations! 10/10 recommend hosting an event at The Perot Museum!

Hosted a party of around 75 last week and had a wonderful experience from start to finish with the Perot events staff, especially Laura Hermes. The attention to detail was evident from the moment I arrived, and I’ve never worked with a more communicative third-party event planner. The setup was seamless, and it was clear the team had put serious thought into the flow of the space well before our guests and internal team walked through the door. What really set the staff apart, though, was how genuinely warm and welcoming they were not just to me as the organizer, but to all of our guests. That kind of friendliness is hard to train and even harder to fake, and it made the whole evening feel effortless. When a couple of last-minute hiccups came up (as they always do with a group this size), the team handled everything quietly and efficiently. They problem-solved on the fly, kept smiles on their faces, and routinely checked in with me, but not too often. That level of professionalism is exactly what you need when you're trying to enjoy your own event. If you're considering the Perot for a private event, don't hesitate.
