About 20 years ago I went to a restaurant down by Lake Lanier to hear Phil sing and play the guitar. I went all through school with Phil and was excited to see him perform. He was awesome. He engaged with the audience and had charisma. I thoroughly enjoyed that night. He gave me a CD of his music. I played that CD so much I almost wore it out. I have listened to his music over the years as he has posted it and he still has that same charisma and still sounds amazing. If I ever have an occasion to go hear him again I most definitely will!!
