About The Cottage Events Venue
The Cottage is an award-winning passive-solar building in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Originally built to house The Cottage Restaurant, the building is now a distinctive venue for small to medium sized events, available for rent for an hourly fee.
Rental fee includes tables and chairs set to your specs, dishes, silverware, glassware, kitchen access, onsite manager during events in case you need assistance. Linens available for a fee. Licensed for beer/wine/cider provided and served by venue.
Popular events hosted at The Cottage include baby and wedding showers, small weddings with reception, birthday parties, holiday parties, memorials, family reunions, vendor shows, business meetings, seminars and workshops. I'm always happy to arrange a viewing of the venue, my hours are quite flexible.

Best venue for a wedding of 40 guests.
- An Eventective User
Small wedding with 35 guests. The venue was set for us when we got there. We added centerpieces on the tables, greenery to the alter backdrop and it was ready to go. We ordered the alcohol package, it was all there, easily accessible and monitored by our hostess. The hostess also warmed our lasagna and garlic bread and then helped get stuff to the table for our buffet style dinner. The lighting was very pretty for an evening wedding. Clean up was super quick since we didn't have dishes to do. It's perfect for a small, simple ceremony. And the price cannot be beat anywhere!
